Ceramic Butter & Cheese Dish

A rectangular ceramic dish with a sealing lid, in white or black. Sized for a standard block of butter or a wedge of cheese, which is the detail that matters — a dish too shallow to close over a full block is no use at all.

The seal does real work with cheese. Cut cheese dries at the exposed face and hardens within a day in an open fridge, and it picks up smells from everything around it. A closed ceramic box solves both.
