Hemstitched Cotton Linen Placemats, Set of 4

A set of four rectangular placemats in a cotton and linen blend, finished with a hemstitched border. Hemstitching is the row of small open stitches just inside the edge, and it is what makes plain fabric look tailored rather than simply cut.

At 30 x 50 cm each mat takes a dinner plate, cutlery and a glass with room to spare, and four colours cover most tables.

Why you'll love it

• Hemstitched edge — a neat, finished border.
• Generous size — a full place setting fits on one mat.
• Set of four — a matching table in one order.
• Heat resistant — a layer between hot plates and the table.
