Sink Caddy Sponge Holder

A plastic sink caddy with drainage, for the small pile of wet things that otherwise lives on the edge of the sink. Sponge, scrubber, brush, the bar of soap — all of it draining into the bowl instead of leaving grey rings on the worktop.

The drainage is the whole product. A sponge sitting in a solid dish sits in its own water and stays wet permanently; a sponge in a caddy with holes in the bottom actually dries between uses, which is the difference between a sponge that lasts a fortnight and one that smells by Thursday.

Why you'll love it

• Everything drains — water runs back into the sink, not onto the counter.
• Sponges dry out — the single biggest factor in how long they last.
• Corrals the clutter — sponge, brush, scrubber and soap in one place.
• Wipes clean — plastic, so it goes under the tap itself.
