Mesh Sink Strainer with Handle

A fine stainless steel mesh strainer that drops into the plughole, with a small upright handle in the centre. The mesh is fine enough to stop rice, tea leaves and coffee grounds — the small stuff that slips through the slots of an ordinary sink waste.

The handle is the improvement over a plain mesh disc. You lift the strainer out by the post, tip it into the bin and drop it back, without having to dig a wet mesh cup out of the drain with your fingernails.

Why you'll love it

• Fine mesh — catches rice, grounds and small scraps.
• Centre handle — lift out and empty without touching the mess.
• Drops in — no fitting, sits in the existing waste.
• Stainless steel — rust resistant, rinses clean.

Details

• Material: stainless steel mesh
• Size: approx. 8 cm across the rim

Measure your plughole first. Scrub the mesh with an old brush once a week — grease closes the holes long before you can see it.
