Tiered Countertop Fruit Basket

A two or three tier metal basket stand for fruit, vegetables and bread. Stacking upwards is the only way to store more on a worktop without using more of it, and tiers keep soft fruit from being crushed under the heavy things.

Open wire baskets let air move around the produce, which is why fruit lasts longer here than piled in a solid bowl. A top handle makes the whole stand easy to move.

Why you'll love it

• Uses height, not counter space — two or three baskets on one footprint.
• Open wire — air circulates so fruit keeps better.
• Separates produce — bananas above, onions and potatoes below.
• Carry handle — lift it to the table or out of the way.

The styles differ in shape and finish, so compare the product images before choosing. Keep bananas on their own tier, as they ripen everything near them.
