Silicone Dish Drying Mat

A ribbed silicone mat for draining washed dishes on the worktop. The raised ridges hold plates and glasses clear of the surface, so air gets underneath and water runs off into the channels instead of pooling under the rims.

Silicone has two advantages over a tea towel laid on the counter: it doesn't go damp and sour, and it grips, so glasses stay where you put them. It also takes heat, which means the same mat works as a trivet under a hot pan.

Why you'll love it

• Raised ridges — air circulates, dishes dry faster.
• Non-slip — glassware stays put on the worktop.
• Heat resistant — doubles as a trivet for hot pans.
• Rinses clean — rolls up to store, dishwasher safe.
