Stainless Steel Butter Warmer

A tall, narrow stainless steel pot with a wooden handle, a pouring spout and measuring marks inside. It is the pot for small quantities of liquid: melting butter, warming milk for coffee, heating a single serving of gravy or syrup, brewing Turkish-style coffee.

The narrow shape is the useful part. A small volume in a wide pan spreads thin and scorches; in a tall pot it has depth, heats gently and pours in a controlled stream. The scale on the inside saves reaching for a jug.

Why you'll love it

• Tall and narrow — small amounts heat without burning.
• Pouring spout — a clean, controlled pour.
• Measuring marks — the volume is on the inside wall.
• Wooden handle — cool to hold, with a hanging loop.
