Wooden Pot Scrubbing Brush

A palm-sized scrubbing brush with a turned wooden grip and natural plant bristles. You hold it in the fist and press down, which puts far more force through the bristles than a long-handled brush can — the right tool for a roasting tin or the bottom of a casserole.

There are two bristles to choose from. Sisal is the softer one, for everyday pans, vegetables and anything you don't want to mark. Coconut fibre is stiff and coarse, for burnt-on food and cast iron. Both are plant fibres on a wooden block, with no plastic in the brush at all.

Why you'll love it

• Scrubs hard — the palm grip puts your weight behind it.
• Two bristle types — soft sisal or stiff coconut fibre.
• Plastic free — wood and natural fibre only.
• Stands to dry — rest it bristles-down by the sink.

Details

• Material: wood with sisal or coconut fibre bristles
• Options: sisal, coconut fibre, or one of each
• Ideal for: pots, pans, roasting tins, cast iron, root vegetables

Shake it out after use and stand it bristles-down so the wood dries. A brush left sitting in water is the one that splits.
