Ceramic Kitchen Canisters

Ceramic kitchen canisters with bamboo lids, in four textures, for the counter rather than the back of a cupboard. Ceramic has weight, which matters more than it sounds — a canister you open one-handed while the other hand holds a kettle needs to stay put on the worktop.

The opaque body protects what's inside from light, so these suit tea, coffee and anything else that fades or stales on a bright shelf.

Why you'll love it

• Stays put — enough weight to open one-handed.
• Blocks light — protects tea, coffee and spices.
• Four textures — dimpled, smooth, diamond or wave.
• Wipes clean — glazed, non-absorbent.

Check the lid seal before storing anything that needs to stay crisp — decorative ceramic lids vary, and not every one is truly airtight.
