Cotton Linen Napkins

Washable cotton napkins, 30 x 30cm, in sets of six, ten or twelve. Cloth napkins are one of the few things that make a table feel considered at almost no cost — a folded cloth beside a plate does more for a setting than most centrepieces.

Thirty centimetres square is the everyday size rather than the formal one: large enough to be useful across a meal, small enough to fold and store without ironing being a project. The larger packs are the ones to buy if you host — running short of napkins is the reason people revert to paper.

Why you'll love it

• Washable and reused — no paper, no ongoing cost.
• Three pack sizes — 6, 10 or 12.
• Everyday size — 30 x 30cm, useful without being formal.
• Dresses a table — the cheapest way to make a setting look finished.

Wash them before first use. New cotton absorbs very little until the finish has been laundered out, which is why a brand new napkin feels like it's pushing water around.
