Glass Honey Pot

A clear glass honey pot in 280ml or 500ml. Glass is the right material for honey because honey shows: the colour tells you what it is, from pale acacia through to dark forest honey, and hiding that in an opaque pot is a waste.

A proper pot with a lid also solves the practical problem — honey left in its squeeze bottle ends up with a sticky ring on the shelf, and honey in an open dish sets a crust and attracts everything in the kitchen.

Why you'll love it

• Shows the honey — colour and clarity are half the pleasure.
• Two sizes — 280ml and 500ml.
• Lidded — no crust, no sticky shelf.
• Glass — washes completely clean, holds nothing.

Details

• Material: glass
• Capacities: 280ml, 500ml
• Ideal for: honey, syrup, jam, preserves

If the honey crystallises, stand the pot in warm water rather than microwaving it. Crystallisation is natural in raw honey and doesn't mean it has gone off.
