Nordic White Ceramic Dinnerware Set

White ceramic dinnerware in a plain Nordic profile, sold singly or in pairs. White is the default for good reason — it's the only colour that makes every kind of food look like itself, which is why almost every restaurant kitchen plates onto it.

It also doesn't date and doesn't clash. A white service works alongside whatever else ends up on the table, and a replacement bought years later still matches closely enough.

Why you'll love it

• Food looks right on it — white doesn't tint what you serve.
• Goes with everything — no clash with existing pieces.
• One or two — build a service gradually.
• Easy to replace — plain white stays available.

Details

• Material: glazed white ceramic
• Options: 1 piece, 2 pieces
• Ideal for: everyday dining, entertaining, building a service

Stack white plates with a cloth or paper between them if they're glazed on both faces. Grit caught between stacked plates is what causes the fine grey scratching you see on old white china.
