Washable Linen Tablecloth

A linen tablecloth for rectangular tables, washable and suited to indoor or outdoor use. Linen is the traditional cloth for a reason: it takes a hot wash, releases stains better than most fabrics, and drapes with weight rather than clinging to the table edge.

It also gets better. Linen softens with every wash and the drape improves over years, which is the opposite of how a synthetic cloth ages.

Why you'll love it

• Washes hot — linen survives the temperature that shifts stains.
• Drapes properly — weight rather than cling.
• Improves with age — softer and better-hanging over time.
• Indoors or out — dinner parties or a garden table.

Details

• Material: linen
• Shape: rectangular
• Ideal for: dining tables, parties, outdoor dining

Measure your table and decide the drop before ordering — around 25 to 30cm of overhang each side is standard for dining, more for a formal setting. Linen creases, which is the fabric rather than a fault.
