Felt Pan Protectors, Set of 12

Twelve soft felt pads, cut in a star shape, that sit between pans when you stack them. The pad covers the cooking surface and the arms fold up the sides, so the base of one pan never touches the inside of the next.

Stacking is how most non-stick pans get ruined — not by cooking, but by the pan above grinding into the coating every time the cupboard is opened. A layer of felt costs very little next to a new frying pan. The set comes in three sizes to suit small, medium and large pans.

Make sure pans are completely dry before stacking. Felt holds moisture against the metal if you put them away damp.
