Airtight Glass Canister

An airtight glass canister with a clamp seal, in two sizes and four colours. The clamp is the difference: a screw lid seals only as well as the last person tightened it, while a clamp closes to the same pressure every time and you can see at a glance whether it's shut.

Four colourways on the seal and fittings — black, white, blue and brown — so a shelf of them reads as deliberate rather than assorted.

Why you'll love it

• Clamp seal — closes to the same pressure every time.
• Two sizes — small and large.
• Four colourways — black, white, blue, brown.
• Glass body — contents visible, nothing absorbed.

Details

• Material: glass with clamp-seal lid
• Sizes: S, L
• Colours: black, white, blue, brown
• Ideal for: coffee, tea, dried goods, preserving

Check the gasket occasionally. A clamp seal only works while the rubber is soft — once it hardens and flattens, the jar looks sealed but isn't.
