Flower-Shaped Ceramic Butter Jar

A flower-shaped ceramic butter jar in red, with a lid that keeps butter fresh and covered. The shape is the point — this is the butter dish that sits on a laid table rather than the plain rectangle that hides in the fridge.

A covered dish does two jobs at once: it stops the butter drying and hardening at the surface, and it keeps it away from anything else on the table. Butter left uncovered picks up dust, crumbs and whatever else is in the air.

Why you'll love it

• Covered — butter doesn't dry or crust at the surface.
• Made to be seen — a table piece, not a fridge container.
• Glazed ceramic — wipes clean, holds no butter smell.
• Keeps its shape — heavier than plastic, won't slide.
