Glass Kitchen Storage Jar with Wood Lid

A glass storage jar with a wooden lid, in five colours and three embossed patterns. The wooden lid is what takes it out of the utility category — a row of these on an open shelf reads as kitchen furniture rather than food storage.

Fifteen combinations between the colours and patterns, which means you can either match a whole shelf or deliberately mix patterns and tones. Both look considered; it's only accidental variety that looks like clutter.

Why you'll love it

• Wooden lids — warm enough for open shelving.
• Five colours — brown, red, green, blue and yellow.
• Three patterns — mosaic, quatrefoil and floral.
• Glass body — see the contents and the level.
