Round Placemats, Set of 6

Round placemats in coffee or brown, sold in sets of four or six. Neutral, round, and plain enough to sit under any crockery you already own — which is the whole job of a placemat that isn't trying to be the feature.

Placemats do something a tablecloth doesn't: they define each setting, so a table reads as laid rather than covered. They also take the heat and the scratches that would otherwise land on the table itself.

Why you'll love it

• Defines each place — a laid table rather than a covered one.
• Protects the surface — heat and scratches land here instead.
• Neutral tones — coffee and brown work under most crockery.
• Four or six — matched to your table size.
